1000 hands on UB $100NL

Broke even, but played decent.  One horrible call down for $30, but that’s about all.  Made some money from bonus/rakeback. 

I also got Poker Stars to run right finally!  I had $10 dollars on there and now I have $30.  Can you say drunk bankroll???  Hopefully I can keep running it up until I play a few MTTs and hit big in one.

I played bad and then tilted my last $100 away!  Basically, I made a laydown wtih a set in an unraised pot with a set when QT made the nuts.  I really though he had QT on the river when he almost min raised me when it hit.  I folded on the river when he bet 1/2 pot.  From what he “says” he was surprised if I folded top two.  Then I tried to squezze with 56s after a weak UTG raise and 3-4 callers and got called by TT.  After that I tiltled off $100 ( half a buy in ).  Dumb p0lay, but the good thing was I felt like one of the best 3 players at the table the whole time.

I want to get to $5/$10 by the end of the year…

I’m about to do some math and see what I come up with.  I’m not counting bonuses or rakeback in my calculation and I’m putting my win rate at 4 PT/BB per 100 with 30k hands a month + withdrawals factored in.

April I expect to have a $7400 br. 

May, $9k  from $100NL + $200NL

June, $11,800 from $200NL

July $16, 200 from 2/3 $200NL  and 1/3 $400NL

August $23,800 form $400NL

September $31,400 form $400NL

October $41,400 from $400NL and $600NL

November taking shots at $1000NL

December playing $1000NL as my main game.

Yeah, that’d be sick!  $1000NL by December making $25k + a month…  Wow!

30 minutes of NL

+$146 then I quit!!!  I had stuff to do, so…   Also, I won $50+ in 2/4 08 limit so a $200+ day in under an hour.

I also subscribed to liveatthebike last night.  It seems very worth the $15 a month!  I can’t wait to play liver again!  My o8 game has gotten alot better just form Super/System 2 and a little pratice.  The NL live game was so weak.  The best player seemed to be weak/tight with a little pre aggr ( with c bet ), but overall weak, easy game.

Lil’ 3 hour session tonight…

4 tables, 1000 hands of $50NL on FTP for $113 profit.  Not bad for 3 hours of work, I guess.  It sure is slow playing 4 tables though.  I keep thinking, I could have 6 tabled on UB and got 2k hands in…  But, I played great and really didn’t make any bad mistakes.  I’m very happy with my play for the night.

Played a little $50NL on FTP

Going great until my KK runs into AA for a 350bb pot.  So after that one I ended up $9 in 300 hands.  Lol…  I may get some serious playing time in tomorrow, who knows? 

One thing, I’m going to try and 4 table only for awhile.  I think I got stuck in the “play more hands, that’s more money” thing.  Yeah, that’s true for some, but not everyone.  That, and I just started seriously playing last October.  So it’ sjust 4 tables and I’m going to really try and concentrate on them.

Last night after my work out I just got a whim to go play in one of the local cardrooms.  So I go to The Lucky Derby and get placed 28th on the NL list.  I figure that’s too long so I go to the Pheonix and get put 9th on their NL list.  So I go back to The Lucky Derby and I’m only 25th on the list.  I go back to The Phoenix and I’m 8th on the list.  So I go ahead and get on the $6/$12 08 list and 15 min later I’m playing that.  I lost $232 playing that damn game!  I played okay, but once on the river my set got obv. counterfeited and I called ( it was HU ) which I think I should have folded.  In another I called down with the 2nd nut flush to run into the nuts, which I should have folded on the flop ( don’t chase the 2nd nuts in ful ring 08, right? )

So, anyways, I’m going to try and commit an hour a day ( 3+ days a week ) to 08.  I deposited $600 on Absolute to do this.  I’m starting with the $.5/$1 limit to get the hang of it.  I want to learn how to play because it’s funner thatn limit Hold ‘em, it’s low variance and they play it at decent limits in my local cardrooms – with 50%+ of the players ( on Friday night ) worse than me right now.

So I’d like to learn some 08 basics this month and be able to play $3/$6 08 limit soon.

MTTs suck and so does 08 Limit

MTT, I 3 bet AI with AK 5x his raise and get called by Q7s, QQQx by the turn.  08, great starting hands and the nuts on the flop don’t win.  At least I played good, but I should have just played some NL instead.  So -$50.

I hate poker!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m playing HU $100NL against a moron and I’m down $300!!!!  I hate HU!  All the HU I’ve recently played has been against some luckbox idiot!  I flop trips, raise damn near AI and he calls with a naked flush draw!  Calls my 3-bets with 47o and K5s.  Only down $250 now – I’m sure once I’m only down $200 he’ll run….  -$225…  -$175… 200BB a piece now, deep stacked….  damn, no premium hand yet….  or set…  Yep, he ran…  F-in coward!  Says I’m scared to play him becasue I time out while out of the room and then runs from me.

This is pathetic, wasn’t even going to play today and I’m -$200 to a punk-fish!!!  Wow, another fish, I raise all-in with a flush draw + overs and get called by under pair 33 – needless to say I miss…  I’m sure now that he doubled up he’ll run too…  No fucking way!  $1/$2 NL.  3 bet with AA, get called by 9To, flop 9Tx, not my night!!!!  Of course T3o calls my 3 bet, c bet and turns another T (one on flop).  This is horrible!  I need to just take the $500 lose and quit, but how do you when you’ve played better than your opponents?  I mean, I should righteously be up $300+.  Still no premium hands, by the way, not even AKo!  Oh, KK, no action.  Ahh, all in all only a -$500+ day for a day off!  I really need to stop playing around so much on FTP, esp. kind of drunk!
