Weekend goal accomplished!

+$249 in 537 hands to wrap up my weekend goal of $1k.  I made $1048 in 2050 hands of 1/2 and $30 or so HU $100NL.

The money at 1/2 is good.  I mean, once I’m back to playing alot of hands I should easily be making $2k a week, or at least close to it.  And the games aren’t that tough.

Just got back form Santa Cruz again…

I played around 850 hands last night and madw $347.  I’m going to go back to Santa Cruz this week again, but after that I should be back to playing 10k+ hands a week.  I hope that between today and tomorrow I can make another $653 so my weekend will be a $1k weekend.

Had a coaching session with Jared today.  I played good and we went over a bunch of things.  With him coaching I played 695 hands and won $946!  Sweet, now I’m up $312 after 8100 hands at $200NL.  For the month I’m up $2130 on FTP and $1450 on UB for a total of $3580 plau bonus and rakeback.  I hope I can just continue to play 1/2 without having to step back down.  I think I can…

1/2 again….

Did it go well, hell no!  All down hill until the end.  I went down all the way to  – $800 at some points.  I was just going to stop and regroup at $100NL, but I was down $600+ and part of it was from two set over sets and one AA vs KK – he turned a K, so I just grinded back and ended up + $81 after 3589 hands.

A little bit of tilt is never good…

especially when you’re giving the next level a shot!  I started out on FTP playing 9 $100NL tables, threw in a $200NL, tilted away 1 1/2 buy ins, opened anther $200NL, played bad, got sucked out on etc until I quit the $100NLs down $62 and started playing all $200NL ending with 9 tables.  I went instantly down $1k, grinded back to +$500.  Then I was about to quit and got 2 bad beats in a row to be up under $100, bounced around even for awhile, got cold decked and was down $400, said I’m playing to even or 5k hands.  Got even, but then lost some.  Then just played and played and kept getting close untiltilt erutped again.  Ended up down $714 in $200NL. 

Good news, I played a total of 3859 $200NL hands and 890 $100NL hands.  The real good news, I think I’m nearly used to $200NL.  Yeah, there’s some better players, noticeably, but I think I can win there.  So tomorrow I plan on grinding out 9 tables of $200NL again, but with a better mindset.

Wow…

After a few days off I really didn’t even want to play today, but I figured I should grind out at least 1k hands on UB to get that bonus out of the way.  Once I got going I didn’t stop until 3130 hands and won $1019!!!  A thousand in one day!  That’s more than my girlfriend makes a month.

I’m feeling good now.  The last few days I’ve just been partying it up and catching up on lost sleep from partying, but I’m pretty enthused to get another 3k hands in tomorrow.

so I play 278 hands $100NL HU and won $105.

Coaching session tonight…

I made $195 in 6oo today while having Jared look over my play.  The coaching session went good, I’ll have an email about it tomorrow.  He mostly just watched me  play the first hour, then throughout the 2nd we talked about all kinds of poker stradegy.  Also, on 2 hands when I would have played it differently Jared suggested another nad both times it worked.  I’ll probably have 3-4 sessions a month as I move up in limits. 

Soon I’ll be going to $1/$2, also.  My bankroll is pretty much there for that limit.

I want to join this $5/$10 game right now as there’s 5 fish and one nit, I’m not putting 10%+ on my bankroll on the line though
