Lol, 1420 hands and I lost $31….

I cannot win!!!

I swear I can no longer win.  Poker has been brutal to me the last 30k hands or so.  It’s sickening to play good and consistantly lose.  4400 hands of $50NL today for4 – $500…..

How I went form eating steaks to Top Ramen…

 

in one night!!! A long 7571 hand night where I lost $8351. I had my FTP bankroll up to $12k on 1-26 up nearly $5k for the month (27k hands), including losing $3k to 2/4 HU (3k hands) and $3600 at 5/10 6max (550 hands). I was taking shots at moslty 2/4 and was up nearly $5k in 4500 hands. I was also up $2500 form 5k hands of 1/2 HU. Things were going good – they seemed – despite being stuck $2k+ on 2 nights and eventually eking out a small profit. So I was taking some shots at higher limits and had plenty to play 1/2 with. I was winning at 2/4 aso I continued to take shots hoping to make 2/4 my reg game soon. Then….

I thought I had it under control. I was playing 2/4 and lost $3k in like 1000 hands and was playing excellent! I started to win some back, then lost it again. I was playing very well still ( I think, I’ve yet to relive the nightmare – i.e. going through all the HHs ). I started to datamine the 3/6 games and found some good tables. I sat down, played good and just got beat up on. I even played some 5/10 until I made a $1k mistake and quit. I just kept losing and couldn’t bring myself to stop playing. I think I was playing winning poker and that if I waited it out I’d win. Well, when my bankroll on FTP hit $3k I quit. I finally gave up and went to bed very depressed…

In all, I played 7500+ handswhere I lost $1000 in 53 hands of 5/10. 1250 hands of of 3/6 where I lost $3600. 3500 hands of 2/4 where I lost $3600. And finally 2700 hands of 1/2 where I lost just over $200.

Since then I’ve played 10,700 hands with 1/3 being 1/2 and 2/3 being .50/1. I’ve lost about $500 at 1/2 and $1000 at .50/1. My bankroll is now at $2265!!!

What am I doing now? Taking a little time off and dataming the .25/.50 games. I’m gong to Seattle for a week in a few days, but when I get back I’m hitting those $50NL games up for at least 30k hands (in 1/2 a month). I also withdrew $4500 form UB and have $1300 coming in rakeback for last month.

Lesson to be learned, c’mon, do I have to say it…..
